InLiquid’s third annual Sculpture in the Glen (SITG) is a month-long immersive outdoor exhibit from September 25 - October 31st. An incredible opportunity to tour the lush creekside acreage of a private Main Line property in Gladwyne, the third annual SITG manifests the unique opportunity to see artwork in a natural and verdant setting, seeing incredible installations and sculptures as you go. This year, over 40 sculptures by over 30 artists will be exhibited and scattered throughout the four acres of the glen. There is truly no better way to take in the outdoors, enjoy the changing of the season and the fall foliage, while enjoying sculpture art and the opportunity to experience the way each piece is curated to interact with these incredible surroundings just a stone’s throw from Center City, Philadelphia.
The sculpture garden will feature works by artists Diane Deery Richards, Annette Cords, Erica Eherenbard, Charles Emlen, Summer J. Hart, Rod Jones, Amy Orr, Zachary Steinheiser, Dina Wind, Roger Wing, and more.
The press is invited to an exclusive Vernissage event on October 2, from 2 - 6 pm. Cocktails and wine are available to take with you as you stroll through the property, and complimentary snacks are provided. Sculpture in the Glen is open to the public on Saturday and Sundays from 12 noon - 6 PM through the entire month of October (closed October 23 + 24). If you'd like to see the glen during the week, you are welcome to make an appointment. Due to the unpredictable traffic on Route I-76, InLiquid requires you to schedule your appointment 48 hours in advance. To make your appointment, please email Lily Horner (lily.horner@inliquid.org) or call our office at 215-235-3405.
Sculpture in the Glen is made possible through the generous support of the friends of the Glen. Additional project support is provided by B. Riley Wealth Management, Clarke & Cohen, Gen 3, Green Mountain Energy, Pennsylvania Council on the Arts, and other community partners.
